Inspiration

This rug is a sculpture inspired by kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing ceramics with lacquer and gold. The hollowed lines represent the imprints of life, filled in by the colors red and white.

Often these memories, these lived moments, are the ones that have most helped us to become what we are today.
