For the Mozart residential project, 55 CLOUD partnered with interior designer Emmanuelle Simon to create a custom rug made from cactus fiber. With its clean lines and understated design, the piece showcases the beauty of traditional craftsmanship.
Chosen for its organic beauty and distinctive character, cactus fiber gives the rug a rich, tactile quality. Despite its unexpected origins, the material is remarkably soft and comfortable underfoot.
A defining detail of this custom creation is its unique edge treatment. Gently rounded corners on all four sides soften the rug’s silhouette, adding a subtle sense of elegance to its minimalist design.
