For the Paspaley Pearls boutique in Brisbane, designed by Carbondale Architecture, 55 CLOUD contributed to the development of custom luxury rugs, created to reflect the identity of this prestigious Australian jewelry house renowned for its cultured pearls.

The centerpiece of the project, the blue rug features an exceptional composition of 60 colors and 500 circles, evoking the shades, movement, and depth of the ocean. This intricate exploration of color required remarkable precision, with every detail contributing to a distinctive and sophisticated atmosphere.

Reflecting Paspaley Pearls’ deep connection to the ocean and its preservation, Carbondale Architecture prioritized a responsible approach to material selection. The rug combines wool with Change fiber, made from recycled plastics recovered from the ocean, bringing together luxury, textile innovation, and environmental responsibility.
